These entrepreneurs were selected in particular because of their alignment with Rerum Novarum principles and the fact that their success is already widely acknowledged on a global scale. Ideas from the Subjective Entrepreneurial Success-Importance Scale were also used to help determine each entrepreneurs position in this research, more specifically, the idea of workplace relationships. The five characteristics that these four entrepreneurs’ success can be attributed to are creativity, the ‘why not’ mentality, people skills, passion, and strategic thinking. These five characteristics were chosen because these were qualities shared by all four entrepreneurs.
